Alice and Carol, Bert and Don are musicians: a pianist, drummer, flutist, and a violinist not in any particular order.  One day they were seated around a table.

1. Bert sat across from the pianist.
2. Don did not sit across from the flutist
3. The violinist sat to Alice’s left
4. The drummer was not on Carol’s left
5. The flutist and the drummer were married.
