Answer

Assume card #6 is, in succession, an Ace, King, Queen, Jack.

If an Ace, then neither 7 or 8 could be an ace, or a king or queen.  Only 1 can be a Jack, so 6 can’t be an Ace.

If a Queen, then 4,5,7 and 8 could not be queens or aces; so 2 aces and the other Queen would have to be cards 1,2, and 3.  So 6 can’t be a Queen.

If 6 were a Jack neither 7 nor 8 could be an ace, jack, or a king.  At most only one of 7 or 8 could be a Queen.

Therefore card #6 is a king.
