Amazon Eggs

You are the leader of an exploration in the deepest part of the Amazon jungle. Your party has been captured by a fierce tribe of primative head hunters.

Ever resourceful, you find out that the chief is very fond of eggs which have been cooked for exactly nine minutes. Though the tribe has confiscated your watches, you discover that your still have two hourglasses: one has a duration of 7 minutes, and the other, 4. And, as luck would have it, they already have a caldron of boiling water.

Cleverly, you strike a bargain with the chief to spare your life and release your party if you can provide him with eggs cooked exactly the way he likes them.
